Drs. Linda Reilly and Julie Ann Sosa to Be Inducted into the American College of Surgeons Academy of Master Surgeon Educators

The American College of Surgeons (ACS) has announced that Linda M. Reilly, M.D. and Julie Ann Sosa, M.D., M.A. will be inducted into its prestigious Academy of Master Surgeon Educators. Dr. Reilly is Professor of Surgery in the Division of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery and Director of the UCSF General Surgery Residency Program. Dr. Sosa is Chair of the Department of Surgery at UCSF and Leon Goldman, MD Distinguished Professor of Surgery. 

The  Academy of Master Surgeon Educators is a landmark program of the American College of Surgeons Division of Education created to recognize the highest levels of achievements in the field of surgical education and to create a vibrant community that will take the field to unprecedented heights. 

Drs. Reilly and Sosa follow in the footsteps of three other Department of Surgery faculty members, Drs. Andre Campbell and Mary McGrath, who were inducted in 2019, and Dr. Adnan Alseidi who was inducted in 2018 (Inaugural).   

The Induction Ceremony will be conducted virtually and held on Friday, September 25, 2020, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm Central Time.
