Biography
Rebecca Buti, MS, RN, NP is a nurse practitioner in the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. As a nurse practitioner on the inpatient vascular surgery service, Rebecca manages patients with a myriad of vascular disorders who are awaiting or recovering from surgery.
With her experience working in internal medicine, urology, and orthopaedics she has a special interest in providing comprehensive care to patients and their families as they transition between health care settings, and ultimately thriving out in the community again.
Rebecca is passionate about promoting opportunities for education and career development for nurses and nurse practitioners. She has been a clinical instructor at Florida Atlantic University and a preceptor while residing in Florida and at UCSF.
Rebecca earned a bachelor's degree in Nursing from Samuel Merritt College/Saint Mary's Intercollegiate Nursing Program. She subsequently earned her Master's in Nursing from FAU where she graduated with a 3.96 GPA.
She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and by the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses as both a nurse practitioner and nurse.
She is also a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses, California Nurses Association, Phi Kappa Phi Honor society and Sigma Theta Tau.
