Residency Program Director Linda M. Reilly, MD Honored with 2018 UCSF Excellence and Innovation Award in Graduate Medical Education

Linda M. Reilly, M.D., Program Director of the UCSF General Surgery Residency Program, was named a 2018 Recipient of the UCSF Excellence and Innovation Award in Graduate Medical Education (GME). The award was presented at the UCSF GME Celebration and QI Symposium on June 18th at the UCSF Kalmanovitz Library at Parnassus Heights. Dr. Reilly is a vascular surgeon and professor in the Division of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery.
Award recipients have demonstrated a commitment to advancing graduate medical education at UCSF through educational and clinical quality improvement, service excellence, and innovation. Awardees demonstrate excellence in the following areas:
- Educational leadership in his/her department, at UCSF, and/or nationally
- Participation in innovative GME-related projects
- Extraordinary efforts to address resident/fellow needs and well-being
- Other contributions to improving graduate medical education at UCSF and/or nationally
